“May these vows and this marriage be blessed.
May it be sweet milk,
this marriage, like wine and halvah.
May this marriage offer fruit and shade
like the date palm.
May this marriage be full of laughter,
our every day a day in paradise.
May this marriage be a sign of compassion,
a seal of happiness here and hereafter.
May this marriage have a fair face and a good name,
an omen as welcomes the moon in a clear blue sky.
I am out of words to describe
how spirit mingles in this marriage.”

We have been itching to photograph at the Anthony Wayne House. Nestled just five miles from Valley Forge lies this magnificent Georgian-style country manor house. The most picturesque location for this charming couple.
It is vital to know the epic tale these two have so lets rewind and recap to Dave & Christina’s love story.
Christina grew up outside of Philadelphia and Dave, thousands of miles away in Europe. Life took the two to Nairobi, Kenya where the wonders of social media brought them together. A connection that seemed to align with the stars, truly meant to be.
“Walking along the pond at Mukima House during sunset, dancing around a fire on Mount Kenya, learning how to drive manual while on safari, scuba diving together, driving to lake Naivasha, sitting next to the fireside afterward…”
The memories Christina speaks of show the zest for life these to have.
They have built a life together over the last few years, even starting a family with their pup Olive, and this day was the perfect celebration to start them off into this new adventure of marriage.
Guests traveled from far and wide and arrived in their finest attire, complete with traditional european headwear. White chairs lined the green lawn, crisp and vibrant thanks to the previous days of rain. Dave beamed as his bride walked down the aisle, and the combination of the string quartet and the beauty of this bride tugged at all of the hearts in attendance.
The sun broke from the clouds as the new Mr. & Mrs. Leaning were announced in public for the first time. Their first dance transformed into a more upbeat rhythm as the two broke out their sunglasses and invited the bridal party onto the dance floor.
The sun set and the party continued. What a splendid day this was! Thank-you for allowing us to take part.
