Where do I begin? I knew instantly when I met this couple for their engagement session, that they were going to be a blast to work with, and I was right.
Rain was forecasted for this past weekend, but what we got was a breezy and very sunny spring day. It was the first time I had the pleasure of photographing at Moonstone Manor , a classic location that includes a historic mansion, each room holding its own charm and vintage appeal.
Here, the girls had their finishing touches with hair and makeup, in the morning, before they left for the ceremony. As the girls practiced their surprise entrance dance, I quickly realized we had an extremely fun and outgoing bunch on our hands. This was solidified when we began later with photographing the groomsmen.
The ceremony was held at the church Christina and Troy met. Before 250 of their closest friends and family, they vowed to love one another through the good and the bad. A bubble send off was held as the 14 person bridal party hopped into their stretch limo, headed towards the party ahead.
The day was sprinkled with personal touches and heartwarming performances. From a brother singing at the ceremony to a surprise entrance dance by the bridal party and another sibling singing an amazing rendition of Frank Sinatra at the reception.
This was a flawless day, only made possible with some of the greatest teams in Harrisburg. Behind the scenes, Planned Perfection made sure all of the details ran together. The desert bar by Couture Cakery was out of this world. And the DJ, from Mixed Up Productions , killed the set, providing upbeat music throughout the night. Let me tell you: this bridal party knows how to have fun and that showed up on the dance floor as well.
Troy and Christina are loved and supported by so many. Their love story is timeless and classic, with a strong Christian foundation. Congrats to the both of you! It was such a pleasure being a part of your big day!
