“In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”
By Sunday of this past week, we were venturing into our third wedding and with that comes a bit of exhaustion. But there was something about Hope and Stephen’s day that recharged every part of our creative juices. I think we could have kept shooting far past the sparkler exit.
Hope & Stephen are one of a kind. They have this goofy side that is ridiculously endearing and refreshing. Their day was beautiful, to the max. From the garden, in which they got married, paired with the string quartet and the most beautiful floral awning (by the amazing Petals with Style) where they said their I Do’s.
The manor was dripping with charm. An old library was tucked in the corner, where we stole away the couple for a quick photo. Stephen made individual wooden coasters for each guest that laid beautifully on the dinner dishes, providing an amazing contrast between rustic and chic.
And don’t get me started on the toasts. Stephen & Hope were showered with love as their closest friends declared their support and admiration. Hope’s dad shared from his heart, a mix of sentimentality and jokes. Bridesmaids and groomsmen shared how the couple have this love for God that is contagious and unshaken.
The party continued outdoors on a beautiful terrace, where DJ Mast brought the tunes, and everyone (including grandma) danced the night away.
I really cant describe how much I loved this day. I left feeling completely inspired and thinking “THAT” is why I do what I do. So honored to have captured this love story. Congratulations to Stephen and Hope!
