I was extremely excited to spend the afternoon with Hope and Stephen on a seasonally warm winter day. The sun was shining brightly taking care of the last few piles of the blizzard that tore through Philadelphia just two short weeks ago.
The two have a contagious joy about them. They giggle constantly and have a sense of ease about who they are. They are comfortable in their own skin and have matching vivacious personalities. It isn’t a surprise that their favorite thing about one another is their passion for life. We spent the afternoon strolling through the streets of Old City Philadelphia, hunting down colorful murals and dancing in the alley ways.
The two met through mutual friends at Penn State and soon after played soccer together on an intramural team. Their first date was precious, beginning with a trail run, rock climbing and a steak dinner to top off the evening. It is that love of the outdoors that has brought them even closer, frequently finding fun date nights both indoor and out. Stephen plans to surprise Hope with another fun adventure for Valentines day, attempting to top their last year’s trip to the circus.
The two will wed this coming June at Brasenhill Mansion in Lebanon, PA and I am so excited for their day!
