“One day you will kiss a man you can’t breathe without and find that breath is of little consequence.”
― Karen Marie Moning
We have been looking forward to this day since the moment Ryan & Colleen inquired on their June 4th date.
Ryan and Colleen are a couple you just want to be around. They are fun and have a passion for life which is so evident in the way they interact with one another and those around them.
The sun shone brightly, peaking in through the large windows of the ceremony space at St. Genevieve Church in Flourtown, PA. A short ride on the party bus hand delivered this energetic bridal party to individual golf carts, which you can bet we took absolute advantage of. The grounds at The Flourtown Country Club were simple perfect. Freshly cut greens, paired with blue skies and a centrally located pond, allowed for an endless array of gorgeous backdrops.
The party continued inside as old friends reunited and new friends were formed. Colleen’s bridesmaids delivered a medley that was nothing short of epic (church friends, pun intended). The customized cake topper was an exact replica of these two fitness gurus. And you could find flip-flops by the entrance to aid with an amazing evening of dancing. This crew knew how to party, complete with a “spin the bottle” dance off, that may take the prize for the coolest event I have yet to see at a reception.
There was something so special about the joy, not only from the couple, but from the friends and family that supported these two. It was truly an amazing thing to be a part of and we are honored to have been able to photograph this love story.
Best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. Wood!
