October 2, 2015 Hurricane Joaquin came rolling in and showed it’s angry face, dumping inches of rain on the Philadelphia area. Nick and Stephanie had planned to wed outdoors at The Race Street Pier but with the weather, changed up their plans last minute.
But the rain and wind had nothing on this couple. Their attitudes completely transformed the evening. Nick and Stephanie said their I-do’s in one of the most unique spots I have ever had a pleasure of photographing in. A theater along Columbus avenue, which created a unique and perfectly fitting look for the couple.
Stephanie’s mother wiped away a tear as she entered into the ceremony while her grandparents, married 60 years, glowed as they watched their granddaughter wed.
The party continued with a bountiful selection of endless hors d’oeuvres and a live band. The maid of honor performed a medley of songs, rewriting popular lyrics and rapping the love story of Nick and Stephanie. A performance truly fit to go YouTube viral.
This day was about so much more than a perfect sunny afternoon. It was about a celebration with friends and family giving their support and love. It was sincerely a special thing to be a part of! A huge congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs!
