“I have walked toward you my entire life, the last step will be for the rest.” –a.r. asher
If there could be one day to be the perfect example of how September should feel, it would be this one. The morning cozy sweater-required crisp fall chill, midday gave way to the most gorgeous and cloudless blue skies, with glorious and relentless sunshine as long as the shortened days allowed. As the sun faded behind a wash of painted skies, the chill returned.
The Stoltzfus Homestead was abuzz with 200 guests excitedly filing in alongside the grand barn for this oh so special marriage celebration for Aaron and Sandy. And with good reason, this wedding was FOUR YEARS in the making. And this ceremony was very well thought through and customized for this couple: Jewish but certainly embellished with whatever touch they wanted to give it.
I would say this day has to go down as our most fun wedding EVER! Aaron is one of the most entertaining people in the world. He slimmed down for the wedding day and carried himself with such confidence but definitely did not take himself too seriously! All day long we posed the pair but more often than not ended up capturing the laughter in between every single pose. His bride Sandy is a blonde bombshell who clearly is smitten with her groom as she laughed at everything he did even after 6 years of being together. As a pair they travel and hike and find adventure in the every day; I cannot imagine a dull day in the Coile household.
This post is getting too long already but I haven’t even gotten to the reception! In short, every single wedding reception should begin with a Jewish Hora. I have never seen such a celebration of dancing and fun. It truly set the tone for the evening. Guests would pop out of their seats in between courses just to get in a dance or two. Those 200 guests joined Aaron and Sandy in dancing through the evening, and the new Mr. and Mrs. Coile messaged Tessa the next morning to let us know, “they had the time of their lives.” And that’s what it’s all about, folks. Congratulations Aaron and Sandy! Your day was such a blast and we were honored to be there!
