“..nothing that I wouldn’t do,
go to the ends of the earth for you,
to make you feel my love.”
It’s not very often that I get to know a couple from their beginnings.
Austin & Savannah met in highschool, freshmen year to be exact. They went through the ups and downs of what young love can bring. Their relationship budded under Friday night lights, Fall campfires with friends and walking side by side through graduation. But it was the years after that the commitment really set in. Savannah left for college and Austin stayed home for a season. What can often break a relationship lead to deeper connection through the anticipation of when they would see each other next. As it has been said over and over again, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
And now the two will wed, in just 10 tiny days.
Austin is my cousin. Coming from a family with both parents having 7 siblings, I have ALOT of cousins. But Austin is one that I grew up with. My earliest memories involve him and his siblings. So to me, watching him not only grow up, but meet, pursue and soon marry a fantastic girl is a really special thing. I can’t wait to share with them in the celebration and know it will be a day to remember!
