Two beach weddings in one week?! I will take it.
The beach town of Margate, New Jersey is a special place for both Emily and Zack’s families. Zack grew up there, and Emily’s family bought a house there a few years ago. Now Emily and Zack live in the beach town together only minutes from both of their parent’s houses.
While this Thursday morning was chilly, it was still nice enough for a first look on the Ventnor Pier. Zack was all smiles as he saw his bride for the first time, in a gorgeous white gown with a lace back and sleeves. Since it is still off season, we had the beach and boardwalk all but to ourselves.
Back at Zack’s parent’s home, the back deck was being prepared for the intimate ceremony. A few guys did some last minute construction to put up the chuppah, which had elements made by members of both sides of the family. The Ketubah signing took place just inside, with the bride and groom surrounded by their families. Outside, overlooking the bay, Emily and Zack said their vows to one another. Back inside the newlyweds celebrated by popping some champagne.
Though it was a chilly day, it was a beautiful one, and we can’t wait to celebrate with Emily and Zack again next year!
