Brad & Ashley {Wedding by Tessa}

Brad & Ashley {Wedding by Tessa}

Brad & Ashley’s wedding was perfection from start to finish. They gambled for this outdoor early-April wedding, and they seriously won the jackpot. Cape May is becoming one of our favorite beach locations to photograph at, especially during it’s off season. The charming streets are welcoming and bring an air of character that no other beach town can match.

The day began with a plethora of sunshine and blue skies. The girls prepped at Ashley’s Aunt home, just a few miles away from the Grand Hotel. While the gentleman got ready just a block away from the “I Do” location. Ashley slipped into the most uniquely-wonderful dress, a zipper less/buttonless gown that slips over the head and fit like a glove. She was stunning with the slight touches of see-through mesh, sewn together by intricate lace.

With the sunshine and timeline in our favor, the afternoon was completely relaxed. Brad & Ashley had their first look and then met their crew to take on the beach. By now, I think we had exclaimed the perfection of this day’s weather over 100 times. This couple was up to take on the beach no matter what the weather called for, so it was such a gift that we were handed warmer temps and plenty of sunshine. And with it being off-season, we had the whole beach to ourselves!

Not only was this couple amazing, but their crew was equally as great. They were up for anything and all around a good time. Truly, this day felt like hanging with a bunch of friends and we couldn’t have loved it more.

The ceremony was simple and sweet, officiated by both Father-of-the-Groom AND Father-of-the-Bride. Sometimes people think having a first look takes away from the look down the aisle, but Brad was a perfect example of the emotions of that moment continuing to be raw and real. The love for his girl was written all over his face.

And then the party…it was the best night, filled with kind word, sentimental dances, delicious cuisine and lots of getting down on the dance floor. To say we are obsessed with this couple is an understatement. Thanks for kicking off our beach wedding season with a BANG. We couldn’t have been more honored to be a small part of the celebration!
