“All their life in this world and all their adventures had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read: which goes on for ever: in which every chapter is better than the one before.”
― C.S. Lewis, The Last Battle
Rachel has a gentle spirit and bright, smiling eyes that can set a room at ease. Her groom, who is on the soft-spoken side, stands a little taller and smiles even wider when in the presence of his sweet bride. Together, the Mr. & Mrs. Leaman bring out the best bits of each other, and are a beautiful reminder of the pure, deep, and genuine bond that defines marriage.
The ceremony at Stumptown Mennonite was bursting with anticipation and emotion as the pair prayed together with hands held around a corner, waiting until those double doors opened and Rachel walked down the aisle to be able to see each other for the first time. The tall white ceilings and sun streaming in the windows framed the pair as they vowed their love to each other.
A summer wedding reception at the Homestead is always a treat- flowers in full bloom, luscious green grass, and the regal white barns are always stunning paired with a sky painted with white clouds and a sweet summer breeze. Dripping with seedy eucalyptus and assorted pastel colored flowers, the grand barn was the picture of elegance to match this day’s bride.
Zach and Rachel, we could not be more thrilled to have been there to capture your completely perfect day. Tessa and I simply could not wait to get to our computers and work on these images! Hope you’re enjoying every moment in that Punta Cana sunshine!
