Taylor & Staci {Wedding by Haley}

“If I lose my way, I will reach for you. And if I find your hand, I’ll know I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

Taylor & Staci {Wedding by Haley}

Through the winding back roads of Lancaster county, past fields as far as the eye can see and down a long private drive, there is this beautiful property at the end of the lane. It looks unassuming until you walk through a small grove of trees to the house at the top of the hill and look down to see dozens of white chairs set up in rows where Taylor and Staci would soon say their I-Dos. The girls got ready in the unique guest house overlooking the pond and that ceremony space. Not far away the guys also tied their ties and slipped into their cowboy boots before all piling into Taylor’s red pickup truck. Taylor and Staci met in a sheep pasture (yes, an actual active sheep pasture) for their first look. The bridal party and curious animals watched from afar as Taylor and Staci saw each other for the first time. Taylor beamed as he turned around to see his bride. They embraced, laughed, and teared up, taking in the day together before meeting up again with their bridal party to share the moment with their friends.

Back at the venue, thunder rolled in and dark clouds threatened rain as we finished up photos. A few raindrops fell as everyone took shelter inside, but just as guests arrived and the ceremony was about to begin, the rain stopped and the sky cleared. The outdoor ceremony would go on! After everyone found their seats, the music began and Taylor took his place at the altar. That big grin covered his face again as Staci appeared at the end of the aisle. The groom’s father lead the guests in singing two hymns and the pastor shared some of their story and some sentiments on marriage. The bride and groom read their own vows to each other, then planted a tree, combining soil from both of their childhood homes into one, to symbolize their foundations and the growth they will experience in this new chapter together. After a kiss made it official, the newlyweds headed off to their reception. After sharing a first dance, speeches were given by the best man and maid of honors. Guests chatted while eating soft serve ice cream with all the toppings. Through a tunnel of sparklers, Taylor and Staci were sent off to Philadelphia were they would stay before leaving for their Caribbean Cruise honeymoon the next day.

What a beautiful (rain-free!) day! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Fox!
