David & Brianna {Wedding by Tessa}

“You’re lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft,
There is nothing for me but to love you,
And the way you look tonight.”

August 18th was a date we had been looking forward to for months. Our e-session with Brianna and David was one of our favorites. Within moments of meeting them we felt we were hanging with dear friends. Both Brianna and David are two of the most caring people I have ever met. They have this vivacious love for life and strive to make those around them feel important and cared for, so we knew these strengths would roll into their special day.

From start to finish, every faucet of their day was filled with emotion. David gifted his bride a scrapbook with sentimental notes from friends and family and a heartfelt letter that instantly brought tears to her eyes. Brianna saw her dad for the first time, decked out in white and beaming from ear to ear, and the emotions were overwhelming. The official first look took place right around the corner from the venue, at PCOM (Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine) where Brianna is an alumna. David turned to see his bride and his jaw dropped. The day continued with the rest of their crew, braving the heat and taking in every moment.

The Ketubah was signed with dear friends and family and the sweet and heartfelt ceremony followed. One of Brianna’s favorite things about David are those passing glances and smile when he think she isn’t looking. And let me tell you, this day was filled with those. The two continued to get lost in one another presence, the overflowing joy was felt by everyone.

The evening ended with plenty of dancing, drinks and their own “Philly Special”: soft pretzels and federal donuts. What a JOY it was to document this love story. Victoria and I couldn’t have been more honored to have been a part of the celebration. Thank-you for being so wonderful and we wish you ALL of the good things for your new marriage.
