“Laughter is holier than piety, freedom is sweeter than fame, and in the end it’s love and love alone that really matters.” – Tom Robbins
Sean and Lyndsey exude joy, the kind of joy that is contagious. They are the type of couple you just want to be around, causing one to forget about any troubles and rather; simply make you laugh. Their personalities spilled out onto every aspect of the day. In one word, this wedding was just down right fun.
The wedding day fell smack dab on July 4th. Their cake was a three tiered strawberry shortcake dripping with fruity goodness. A table was set up to honor those family members that have fought to serve our country and pins were presented for guests to wear.
The pockets of rain fall didn’t squander any of the overflowing joy. Rather, the bride hiked up her dress and danced the night away under a cool mist. Another strong aspect of the day was the love of music. Sean and Lyndsey asked a few friends to pick and sing their first dance. So outside of the grand barn, underneath ropes of lit orange lights, the most beautiful song played out. Perfect harmonies paired with an acoustic guitar and violin, Sean and Lyndsey drunk in every note, their eyes filling with tears as they got lost in the moment.
It was magical from start to finish. As the sun set and the rain distanced itself, the campfire crackled and the music played again. The day was laced with joy. Love from friends and family towards the couple was so evident. It was truly something special and I am SO honored I got to experience the day. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Marshall.
