“You can talk with someone for years, everyday, and still, it won’t mean as much as what you can have when you sit in front of someone, not saying a word, yet you feel that person with your heart, you feel like you have known the person for forever…. connections are made with the heart, not the tongue.”
― C. JoyBell C.
With all of these rainy Saturdays, you would think it’s still April! Saturday, June 27th had to be a record breaker for us, the rain was relentless. But tucked inside the Carriage House on Stoltzfus Homestead was a stunning bride with curls in her hair and the one of the most gorgeous gowns I have ever seen hanging on the wall. She and all of the ladies had that beautifully calm wedding day we’ve-done-all-we-can-do spirit and we knew that she would be thrilled to be married no matter what the weather.
The decor was rustic and lovely, and all handmade by this crafty bride. Resting on a crate of umbrellas was a sign made by Regan the night before that read, “They say rain on your wedding day is good luck.” Nick and Regan were troopers as we got creative using umbrellas, indoor space, and stealing them away as soon as the rain seemed to be easing up. They were lost in each other and made our jobs a million times easier.
Thank you for inviting us to be part of your gorgeous day, Nick and Regan!
