Noah & Catherine {Wedding}

“Because I could watch you for a single minute, and find a thousand things I love about you.” -Unknown
Noah & Catherine {Wedding}I rarely get emotional on wedding days because I am so focused on capturing everything that’s happening, but this day was not one of those days. Best friends falling in love may be my favorite love story, and it is the one that Noah and Catherine share. There is just something about two people that have known each other for years, through all life’s ups and downs, finally realizing they are meant to be together. With the foundation of that closeness and friendship, then adding romantic love, it can only be a mix for a solid marriage.

As our morning began, the girls dressed and did final makeup and hair touch ups while in the adjacent room the guys tied their ties and put on their jackets, and the brothers even had time for a quick game of chess. Noah and Catherine exchanged letters just before seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, heightening the anticipation of what was sure to be an emotional first look. By this time it was all we could do to keep the excited groom from turning around to see his bride as she made sure her dress and veil were just right. Their reactions did not disappoint as they shared a few moments together before we joined the bridal party on the caravan of golf carts leading us around to the most picturesque spots on the golf course at Old York Country Club.

The rain held off just long enough for Noah and Catherine’s outdoor vows. Catherine’s pastor gave a heartfelt message to the couple and their closest family and friends, reminding the couple of how loved and supported they are by everyone in attendance. Together they built a three piece cross to be a decoration in their home together as a reminder of the vows and commitment they have made to each other.

The newlyweds entered the ballroom and were greeted by their bridal party, family and friends, and Catherine’s great-grandmother, Maga, for a traditional Polish blessing. After first dances, toasts, and dinner the MC for the night led the guests in a table dance that got everyone on their feet and onto the dance floor where they stayed for the rest of the night.

I couldn’t have asked for a better couple as my first wedding lead shooting for TMI. Every love story is unique and it is always an honor to be able to play a part in capturing that, but the bond that Noah and Catherine share is just so sweet and genuine. Victoria and I had so much fun getting to know this couple and their bridal party, and we wish you all the love and happiness!
