I’m not sure if this is the real start of fall, or just a tease, but whatever it is I will take it. These end of summer weddings have been getting so lucky as far as weather goes. Matthias & Taryn’s wedding was the perfect way to start of a beautiful Labor Day Weekend.
In the bridal suite at the Booking House, the girls were getting ready while listening to Lizzo to get pumped up for the day, and there may or may not have been a dance party to Call Me Maybe just before photos… It was a good time all around.
Matt and Taryn opted to see each other for the first time as they were walking down the aisle, and it kept the anticipation and emotion at an all time high all day. When they saw each other, both showed those huge dimpled grins that you’ll see more of later in their photos. By the end of the message I think everyone in attendance was either drying their happy tears, or had sore cheeks from smiling so much.
The Bride and Groom greeted their friends and family as guests enjoyed cocktail hour, and a front row view of the photos happening outside, from the downstairs cocktail lounge. As soon as the room was flipped for the reception, guests made their way upstairs and found their seats. Matt and Taryn shared an adorable first dance, and a few members of the bridal party shared toasts for the newlyweds during dinner. As soon as the cake was cut, the music started and everyone took the dance floor. The DJs from Bring on the Bash did exactly what their name promised. The dancefloor was full from beginning until the end when guests lined up outside the Booking House to send off the newlyweds under the jingling of bells.
Congrats to the new Mr and Mrs Szczepanek! We had a blast celebrating with you!
