“You are my husband, you are my wife.
My feet shall run because of you.
My feet dance because of you.
My heart shall beat because of you.
My eyes see because of you.
My mind thinks because of you.
And I shall love, because of you.”
The sun finally decided to shine and shine it did. After weeks of rainy weekends it was as if mother nature made up for this unusual May by blessing us with the most picture perfect Friday.
Kayla gave Cinderella a run for her money in her Italian designed princess gown, complete with gold sparkly heels. Jeff stood handsome in his USAF Dress Blues. The backdrop for their first look was the perfect combination of class and charm as the Cork Factory never disappoints in the beauty department. We wisk the two away for a private couple sessions just a few miles away, where we were able to take advantage of the striking greenery that the previous rain had now provided.
I loved the dynamic of these two. Kayla is bubbly and when she smiles a twinkle reaches her eyes. Jeff is solid and steady but yet has a soft mannerism about him when he is around Kayla. They match perfectly.
The ceremony was officiated by Jeff’s dad which added an extra level of sentimentality. Directly after they were announced as husband and wife, while holding hands, Kayla and Jeff embraced their mothers.
It was an evening of celebration, from the cake war that went far beyond just the bride and groom to the open dance floor where family and friends threw their shoes to the side and danced the night away. The couple said their goodbyes through a sparkle of flames and this perfect evening came to a close.
It was a wedding to remember! We are so honored to have been chosen to capture this love story! Best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. Shuler.
