Garret & Caroline {Wedding by Haley}

Caroline and Garret have a love that has lasted through the years. They have been together almost half their lives! There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that these two are meant to be. The pair chose to celebrate their marriage in their hometown of Bethlehem, PA. Both Caroline and Garret got ready for the day in the homes where they grew up and their parents still live. When it was time to slip into her white dress, Caroline gathered with her mom and bridesmaids in her childhood bedroom. As her mom zipped and buttoned the back, her friends beamed in the corner, snapping iPhone photos and excitedly chatting with one another. Caroline said goodbye to her pup and we headed to the church where Garret was anxiously awaiting to catch the first glimpse of his bride-to-be. Garret’s jaw dropped as he spun around toward Caroline. They embraced, taking in the first moments of this exciting day together. They gathered their bridal party, and more tears and smiles were shared as their friends and parents saw them together as bride and groom for the first time.

The blue skies and leaves that were just beginning to change colors made the perfect backdrop for photos on this warm but breezy fall day. As guests arrived and made their way into the rows of pews in the church, the bride and groom spent their last few moments apart. Caroline exchanged gifts with her bridesmaids and put the finishing touches on hair and makeup. The groomsmen lined up next to Garret at the front of his church, and soon the stunning bride made her way down the aisle. After vows and the exchange of rings, they sealed their marriage with a kiss. Guests lined the steps outside the church and showered the newlyweds in lavender as they exited.

We arrived at Northampton Country Club just in time to catch the most radiant sunset. Neither Caroline nor Garret stopped smiling the entire day, just so excited to finally be married to one another. Caroline’s sister and maid of honor shared in her toast that during the planning process Caroline didn’t have many strong opinions about how things looked and wasn’t worried about the little details, all she knew was that she wanted to marry Garret. Something that anyone could see just purely from the blissful looks on their faces this day. It was an honor to capture this special day for such a wonderful couple as we wish you the best as you begin your married lives together!
