The most beautiful bride, paired with this sentimental and caring groom. Jen & Brandon are the perfect combination of sweet and goofy and have this adoration for one another that can be felt within minutes of being around them. We knew, rain or shine, that September 9th was going to be a good one.
We arrived in the morning to first meet the girls, the mood was cool, calm and collected. The ladies were enjoying their morning, sipping on champagne, chatting about the day and being wowed by their stunning friend. Jen is and always has been a beauty, but on this day she took it to a whole other level. Her dress was one of the most gorgeous I have every seen (and I have seen a few). A sophisticated style from Martina Liana, with a high neckline, a simple silhouette an ivory beading, not to mention and train that went on for days. Jen’s mom and maid of honor, helped her slip into the gown. Her best ladies walked out of the adjoining room and were brought to tears. I’m a daddy’s girl so while I love a couple’s first look, I’m the biggest fan of a father-daughter one. Jen chose to have just that, as her dad opened his eyes with a smile that instantly reached from ear to ear. It was so evident how proud he was of the women before him.
While the rain from the day brought it’s own challenges, there was not once where this couple let it affect their mood. This is always so telling to us, as the bells and whistles of a day are fun, it is the marriage and the commitment that holds the most value. The ceremony was sweet and sentimental, honoring the relationship and the God that brought them together.
It was the party that everyone was waiting for, and a party it was. The evening began with cocktail hour where friends and family ate, drank and caught up with one another followed by a delicious dinner, sweet words from friends and family and, of course, plenty of dancing.
It was such an honor to be a part of the celebration!
