June 8, 2018 was a beautiful day dripping with golden sunshine and seasonable summer heat. As noontime swelled, the anticipation for Steve and Amanda’s wedding day was as palpable as the sun’s rays.
The bridal suite at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens was filled with fun and laughter, chatter and banter. Our bride on the verge of tears all morning. The best kind of wedding days are those filled with emotion, and Amanda was not lacking. Champagne was popped and the celebration was off to a hearty roll.
Steve, a tall and sturdy groom, quiet and patient and full of love for his brunette bride. Ties were tied and re-tied, shirts exchanged, and crises averted- the junior groomsman and sweet ring bearer bringing comic relief. A room full of brothers for groomsmen added a refreshing closeness to this bunch.
After Steve and Amanda shared their first look, walls broke down and emotions carried this sweet couple through hundreds of photo opps, kisses, location changes, and ultimately, to the altar. There they found each other in front of a handful of their closest family and friends. Their ceremony told the tale of the special things they love about each other, and the great anticipation to share the rest of their days together.
As the sun set behind the Grand Barn, the celebration matched the colorful sunset. Cornhole beanbags were tossed on the lawn, the fire pit roared with life, and the dance floor was lively and bright.
What an honor it was to spend the day alongside Steve and Amanda and their wonderful families, capturing their warm, golden love for each other. We wish you two all the best that life has to offer!
