My alarm clock came a bit earlier than normal as I got up for a sunrise session. I actually love sessions in the morning. There is nothing quite like being up right before the sun breaks over the horizon, as the world wakes. There is a sort of peace about it.
You would not have known that it was before 7 when Nick & Jackie arrived. They were bright eyed and ready for their session. They said they weren’t morning people, but they really fooled me. I love the magic of a wedding day but I also love the unhurried feel of an engagement session. I get to hear the stories, from the time a couple met, to moving in, to how he proposed. I’ve learned to be able to read people within the first five minutes of a shoot and here is what I read about Nick and Jackie. They have this joy about them that comes out when they are around one another. Their relationship is playful and fun. Nick is a romantic and Jackie quirky. There wedding next August is sure to be a fun one! We simply cannot wait to capture another part of your love story!
