Michael and Jenna’s love was formed on the campus of Temple University. Arguably the best school not only in Philadelphia, but definitely in Pennsylvania (I may be slightly biased, as it is my alma mater as well). I had the pleasure of studying abroad with this bride back in college, so it was such an honor to see her love story unfold and to document the two becoming Mr. & Mrs. Bohannon.
The day began at The Loews Philadelphia Hotel. I knew Jenna and her girls would be stunning, and they proved me right. Jenna’s mom and MOH helped to slip her into her elegant Kleinfield gown, adorned with a gorgeous long veil. The gentleman were a few floors down, doing their own prepping. Buttoning of jackets, straightening of ties…
Short thereafter, it was time for Michael to see his bride. He turned, his pride and adoration showed with a smile from ear to ear.
We were ready to take on the day, and what a GLORIOUS day it was. The weather could not have been more perfect. We hopped aboard a trolley that took us from Washington Square to Second Bank of America where we took plenty of photos of this couple and their crew.
Next up, it was time for the main event. The Ballroom was packed with friends and family that came from near and far to witness and celebrate the union of these two. The ceremony was sweet and sentimental.
I knew we would have a party on our hands within moments of meeting the bridal party that morning. And a party it was! Groove Place kept the jams going from start to finish. The new Mr. & Mrs. were announced and the room erupted. Heartfelt speeches, exquisite dining and, of course, plenty of dancing and dessert filled this evening.
What a magical day!
