Mark and Amy met on Match.com in January 2012. Their first date was lunch at El Serrano in Lancaster. The conversation went so well that they decided to continue the evening with a movie in Lititz. Amy says they had a hard time staying quiet because they wanted to keep their conversations going. After the movie, they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. By the time they were both driving home, they were already talking again and making plans for their next time together.
Although the road to the alter has not been an easy one, this couple has leaned on one another through all the trials. Their foundation is built through God and their relationship with their friends and family; not to mention their love for the Steelers. Their relax manner and comfortableness with one another has helped them face their tough days.
The wedding took place in Lancaster city on a mild November afternoon. The importance of music was evident throughout the whole day, beginning with a combination of brass instruments and hymns were sung during the ceremony. The reception was filled with good food and fellowship as everyone celebrated this new marriage. It was a pleasure being a part of Mark and Amy’s wedding day!
