Minutes before walking down the aisle; I was with Halle and her bridesmaids as she tried to hold back her tears. Her nerves were kicking in and the realization of what was to come was tugging at her emotions. She looked at me and asked, “Am I just the craziest bride you’ve ever seen?”
Halle was exactly opposite of that. She was poised throughout the day even when the wind blew and the clouds threatened to spill rain on us. She didn’t waver in the fact that the day wasn’t about everything being just right; rather it was about the commitment she was making to her best friend.
Halle and Landon said their I do’s after a simple ceremony, outdoors amongst a hundred friends and family. The sun peeked out at just the right times, bearing down its warmth as the couple basked in the words of the two chosen worship songs.
The day was filled with laughter, old friends catching up, and a lot of trekking through fields. I couldn’t be happier for the new Mr. and Mrs. Musser. Wishing only the best!
