March brings the beginning of all the good things. With the mild winter in Philadelphia, the cherry blossoms are already beginning to peek out through the bare branches. There is an excitement in the air. The worst of the cold is behind us and the spattered taste of Spring brings anticipation for warmer days.
I met with John and Maryellen along the waterfront near boathouse row and we were absolutely channeling warm thoughts. The previous few days had brought sunshine and temperatures in the mid 60’s. Overnight the temps had dropped and the wind came out to play.
John and Maryellen took on the cooler weather like champs, hugging and kissing to stay warm…making my job quite simple.
Maryellen loves John for how patient and understanding he is while John loves her sweetness and sensitivity. Their first date was at Lucky Dog Saloon, where the two talked without pause for over 3 hours. From the start their relationship was easy and uncomplicated. They met online and by date three all dating apps were a thing of the past. Over the next several years their adventures took them to the mountains of Phoenix to galavanting around Italy. (Although they are perfectly content with a weekend of binge-watching Netflix).
This is one of my favorite times of year as engagement sessions are coming back into season, and with that I get to hang out and get to know my clients better. John and Maryellen are no exception.
The two will wed in October at St Matthews Roman Catholic Church with a reception following at Overbrook Golf Club. We cannot wait!
