“Because I could watch you for a single minute, and find a thousand things I love about you.” -Unknown
This balmy July day took heat to a whole other level! It may have been on everyone’s mind going into James and Lisa’s wedding day, and with a heat index of 108° we may have felt it on our skin all day long, but one look at this enamored pair and suddenly a romantic breeze seemed to blow and set the room at ease.
Under the shade of the Stoltzfus Homestead’s Tobacco Barn as the sounds of a string quartet filled the room, Lisa glided down the aisle lined with lanterns and rose petals to her grinning groom- his face beaming with admiration.
In spending time with the pair individually throughout the day, it was quickly apparent that each of them were consumed with the happiness of the other. If that isn’t the mark or true, lasting love, I don’t know what is. The way they calmly interacted throughout the course of the busy day was an inspiring reminder to me of what love should look like.
Though the day was warm, the evening brought a cool breeze and the crowd relaxed on lawn chairs and played games, chatting and laughing for hours. The sun set behind a dramatic show of billowing storm clouds in the west and James and Lisa ended the evening running through a tunnel of sparklers lined with their closest friends and family.
Another incredible wedding day for the books! We loved spending this day with you, James and Lisa! Thank you for allowing us to take part in your big day. Enjoy that Hawaiian honeymoon!
