Brenden & Suzanne {Wedding by Tessa}

You are my blue crayon, the one I never have enough of, the one I use to color my sky.

Brenden & Suzanne {Wedding by Tessa}

To say this day was perfection, would even be an understatement. From the weather, to the couple, to the location; start-to-finish, perfection.

We were really looking forward to this day. I met Suzanne and Brenden a couple of months back for their engagement session. They chose to do a casual at-home session, where they danced in their living room to the record player and chilled with their cats. Really, the coolest couple around. So I knew their day would be true to them; laid back in all the best ways yet filled with sentimentality.

We began the morning with the bride and bridesmaids at the home that Suzanne grew up in, just down the road from the place she would say “I do.” We then traveled to the beautiful Springton Manor, where her groom awaited to see her. Spring has been kind this year, with the ideal mix of rain and sunshine, pulling forth the most lovely greens and blooming flowers.

Brenden turned to see his lovely bride, beaming from ear to ear. Suzanne was radiant in her gorgeous gown. In leu of a veil she chose a flowing cape (one of our favorite wedding dress touches). It is so very evident how he adores his girl.

The rest of the afternoon was spent with the bridal party and couple, galavanting on the grounds, taking advantage of the tall grasses and beautiful gardens. It was so.much.fun.

And then to the ceremony. Simple white chair were lined near a large tree, stretching up towards the blue sky. The view was breathtaking. Friends and family arrived to witness these two pledge their forevers.

Because all of the formalities were taken care of during the morning and afternoon, we were able to get right to the celebration. Cocktail hour took place on the lawn, with delicious food and drinks. The party was opened up by one of the best bands around, BVT Live’s Jellroll. They kept the party going from start to finish.

True perfection. We couldn’t have loved this couple or this day more. THANK-YOU for choosing us to document all of the memories.
