Matt & Katie {Wedding}Matt and Katie’s wedding day is one that we have been looking forward to for awhile. The groom is our very own Victoria’s brother-in-law. So while Tessa and I worked, Victoria got to experience the wedding from the other side of the camera!

This day went as flawless as a wedding photographer could hope. The weather felt more like May than the end of July with a temperature of 75 and a perfectly blue sky. From beginning to end, the day was so relaxing, fun, and filled with love.

Out of sight in the house, the girls zipped up their dresses and finished off the look with strings of pearls and white lily bouquets. While on the other side of the door, Matt and the boys tied their ties and toasted with their customized groomsmen beer steins. The girls in their black dresses and the guys in all black suits made for a very classy looking bridal party.

The pond at Harvest View Barn sparkled in the sun as Katie walked across the bridge to see her groom for the first time. Both of them shed a few happy tears before rejoining their bridal party. Their joyful ceremony was officiated by Matt’s dad, adding to the sentimentality of the day.

The newlyweds were announced into their reception room that was just drenched in golden sunlight, enhancing the classic gold and black decor. After a few speeches and Matt and Katie’s first dance, the guests flooded the dance floor where they stayed until the end of the night. There was even a special appearance by the DJ on the dance floor as everyone sang along to the Backstreet Boys. The night ended with a glow stick send off just outside the barn as the friends and families of the bride and groom said their last well wishes to the newlyweds.

All in all, this day was smooth from start to finish and we are so happy that these two are finally married! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Walters!
