Eric & Georjenna {Wedding by Haley}

This was a day I had been looking forward to for a while – specifically since I did Eric and Georjenna’s engagement photos in June 2018. We had the best luck with weather that day after a rainy summer, and I hoped we would get just as lucky with the big day – and did we ever! Several times I heard the bride, groom, and others say “this really is the best day ever”, and I fully agree. I had such a good time spending the day with Georjenna and Eric’s families and capturing their story.

This day was filled with sentimentality and traditions new and old. Georjenna got ready at the house she grew up in with her parents and sisters, and other family members dropping in throughout the morning. The ceremony took place at the church just down the road from their house. We even got to take photos at Bolton Mansion – a place that Georjenna has always loved and it just a short walk from her parents’ house. The reception then took place at Celebrations, and this is where Georjenna’s sister had her wedding reception a few years ago. I loved all the Philly touches in the decor. During the cocktail hour there was an ice sculpture representing the iconic ‘LOVE’ sculpture in the city, and the night ended with a ‘taste of Philly’ – another ice sculpture, this one said beer, along with the best local foods, drinks, and sports memorabilia that Philadelphia is known for.

Another thing to add is that Georjenna and Eric are both fellow Temple alumni, so that gives them points in my book already. Overall this day lived up to the hype and I think everyone in attendance would agree, it was the best day ever!
