Our very LAST wedding of 2017, and I can truly think of no better couple to end the year with. I had been looking forward to this day for months and months. Anthony & Melissa are simply fun to be around. Their love is uncomplicated and refreshing. They both have the biggest hearts and such a sweet adoration for one another.
Victoria and I traveled to NJ on the most PERFECT Winter day. While the calendar showed December 2nd, the weather didn’t get the memo. The skies were blue and the sun came out to play, warming temperatures above 50 degrees. The girls were well underway with prep when we arrived; a delicious breakfast spread laid out, the champagne poured and the final touches of hair and makeup were being placed.
Natural light drenched this couple’s home, paired with an insanely beautiful bride. The day was a photographers dream from the beginning.
I had photographed one of the bridesmaid’s weddings a couple of years back and I knew some of the same girls would be in the party, so I knew it would be a good time. But truly, these bridesmaids are #GOALS. They continually showered their dear friend with love throughout the day and were simply a blast to be around. The gentleman didn’t disappoint either. Anthony and Melissa keep good company.
Anthony was all smiles as he turned to see his stunning bride. They danced on the bridge, kissed by the evergreens and cuddled to stay warm. Theirs is the easiest love to capture on camera.
A game day decision was made when the weather was showing a seasonably warm winter evening and the couple decided to share their vows outdoors. The sun set and the ceremony details were placed. The bride and groom were lit by candlelight, exchanging their vows under an arbor of greens.
Then the party awaited…and boy, does The Merion know how to throw one. The couple entered to music from DJ Bill, sparklers and roses were paraded in like a real life version of Beauty and the Beast’s, Be Our Guest. Exquisite dining took place and the dance floor was filled from start to finish. The night ended with a champagne pour, opening up a room filled to the brim with desserts. This day = MAGICAL.
Anthony and Melissa, THANK-YOU for having us be a part of the celebration. I couldn’t be more grateful to all of our 2017 couple but I am particularly thankful to have ended the year with such an amazing day.
