Alex & Andrea {Wedding by Tessa}

July 1st was a hot one, there is no doubt about it. But no difficult weather could take away from the anticipation for this day.

Victoria and I traveled to Historic Shady Lane, a gorgeous Central Pennsylvania venue. The girls were busily prepping in the cute cottage and the groomsmen were tucked away in the rustic den; complete with cards, darts and a shaded patio. Both the bride and groom were accompanied by their favorite furry friend. Andrea spent time with her mom and maid of honor as they helped her slip into her gown. Her dad beamed with pride as he saw his gorgeous daughter all dolled up and ready to marry her highschool sweetheart.

While the couple may be young, they have this maturity about them that can be seen in the way they interact and carry themselves. The ceremony was a sweet testimony to the years they have spent with each other and the blessing by God it is that he brought the two together. There was such anticipation for what is to come and the life that will continue to be built between the two.

Andrea is ALL about photos, so the heat didn’t stop her from allowing us to venture all over the beautiful property…from the budding gardens, to the bridge and even atop the hill at a historic pavilion.

The evening continued under the tented reception, with sweet dances and sentimental toasts.

What an evening it was! Thanks for choosing us to be a part of the celebration. We know God’s got big things for your new marriage.
