As the Christmas season is getting into full swing, most people aren’t thinking about engagement photos, but due to weather, we had to reschedule Jenna and Mike’s engagement session until this week. They chose Peddler’s Village and it could not have been a more perfect location. It’s a little village in Buck’s County, and at Christmas time people come from all over to shop for Christmas gifts and other holiday items. During the day the village is bustling with people shopping, eating and drinking hot chocolate from the outdoor stands, and drinking beers from the nearby brewery. After sunset the whole place lights up with all different colored Christmas lights and becomes a picturesque holiday winter wonderland that could be straight off a post card. Luckily we didn’t have any rain (or snow) this time and were able to take in all the attractions along with the other shoppers and tourists.
It was the dating app Bumble that brought these two together, but their common interests, casual, fun loving personalities, and mutual support of each other kept their relationship strong. Mike proposed on an afternoon in their kitchen, much to Jenna’s surprise, but of course she said an ecstatic YES, and the rest is history. They are planning their fall wedding next year and I can’t wait, it is sure to be a fun day and a great party.
