Springton Manor strikes again! This is one of our favorite go-to locations, and I think it is pretty easy to see why. It is gorgeous in all seasons, and there is always something a little different we can bring out with each couple. Hannah and Kevin’s engagement session was no exception. As we walked around and chatted, Kevin realized he used to come to Springton regularly as a kid, and it was fun to reminisce about his fond memories of fishing in the pond, the huge old trees, and the new additions and changes to the farm.
There is this little window of fall perfection that seems to get smaller and smaller each year, but Hannah and Kevin were lucky enough to have scheduled their session just as the leaves are turning the most beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow. In addition to the pretty fall colors, we had the perfect weather and were even rewarded with a clear sky for sunset, which was a welcome relief after the gray cloudy evenings we’ve had the past few weeks.
Hannah and Kevin have an ease and playfulness to their relationship that was so fun to capture. They were naturals in front of the camera, and despite a few jitters at first, they rocked their session and, in my opinion, are pretty darn photogenic.
I can’t wait to work with Hannah and Kevin again for their wedding at the Homestead – another one of our favorite locations!
