“Take my hand, I won’t let go.
We’ve waited so long.
And all my life I walked alone, to you, my heart, my home.”Winter came early this year and it blew in with a vengeance the morning of November 20th. Chris and Sheri have been together for over ten years, so there was really nothing that was going to get in the way of their special day.
While the weather threatened to keep us indoors; Sheri, Chris and bridal party were up for the winter winds. They never once complained, but rather embraced the circumstances head on. The Homestead is a beauty outdoors, so we are so very grateful for a couple with an adventurous attitude.
While the winds blew outside, the ceremony took place in the quaint tobacco barn, with its cream walls and high ceiling, the heaters warmed the guests as the Jewish traditions took place. There is something so very special about a ceremony laced with traditions that have been taking place for decades. With the breaking of the glass, the party continued as guests found their seats in the grand barn.
It is so evident how loved and supported this couple is by all of their friends and families, not only did the best man and man of honor share heartfelt speeches, but the parents as well.
As the evening came to a close, the pretzel truck pulled in, treating guests to warm and doughy pretzels. The perfect topper to this beautiful day.
Congratulations Chris and Sheri! Thank-you for allowing us to be a part of your special day!
