Where to begin with Scott & Megan? I knew when we met them last autumn at their engagement shoot that theirs would be a wedding Tessa and I would be anxiously awaiting! These two fall into an ease when they’re in one another’s presence, like the world can finally stop holding its breath when they come together because then, and only then, is everything as it should be.
The day was perfect, there was a frame of vibrant blue skies around the stark white of the Grand Barn at Stoltzfus Homestead. The perfection went as far as a “no photography” request during the ceremony- a photographer’s dream come true! The decor was soft and romantic with golds and whites, baby’s breath, a gown dripping with jewels, and a pop of royal blue in the bride’s Badgely Mischka heels (a gift from one generous and incredibly proud sister and Maid of Honor.) Watching Scott take in the first sight of his stunning bride was a moment to remember, both of them holding back tears but sharing giddy excitement. And the rest of the day, we simply could NOT stop taking photos of this lovely pair. Three separate couple sessions? Sure, why not? A couple like this only comes around once in a while.
We certainly enjoyed this beautiful, sunny wedding day, but mostly we enjoyed our time spent with Scott and Megan. From Virginia to Lancaster or anywhere in between, we look forward to seeing you two again! Enjoy every sun-soaked moment of that honeymoon!
