Ryan & Ashley had their first date in March of 2017. They met for drinks at Dickinson Avenue Public House and instantly clicked. They sat there for hours talking and it felt like they had known each other forever. Ashley says Ryan was a ball of nerves and surprisingly she wasn’t nervous at all. She felt like he was someone she had known already for awhile. From the first date on they hung out as much as they could, even while living an hour and a half away from each other.
9 months later on a frigid New Year’s eve, (literally 8 degrees out) Ryan planned to do a full-Philly-tour. Complete with cheesesteaks, City Hall, and of course, a run up the Rocky steps. Ryan invited his friend to hang out with them for the day, but he was really there to take some pictures of the engagement. At the top of the Art Museum, Ryan got down on one knee and asked the lovely Ashely to marry him.
On another chilly day, I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan and Ashley. They were troopers, embracing the chill of the evening. Ryan has this way of getting Ashley to belly laugh and together they make the sweetest pair. The two plan to wed at one of our favorite venues, The Booking House. We can’t wait for the big day!
