Eric & Samantha {Wedding}

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

030-storyboardWe are winding down our year, and with that comes a lot of long days and low energy. But this end-of-year season has been completely amazing, largely due to our fantastic couples. Each wedding day has been renergizing, and wonderfully beautiful in its own individual way.

Eric & Samantha are no exception. I had personally been looking forward to their wedding since originally meeting them last November for their engagement session. We had photographed at their Alma Mater, Rutgers University where the two had met in engineering school. Just over a year later, we traveled to the same location to capture their I Do’s.

The day dripped with Fall tones, from the color splashed trees, to the deep crimson that touched every aspect; the girls robes, the garter, the dresses and the beautiful flowers. Even the ceremony venue was painted in a deep red, which created an elegent and timeless feel.

Samantha may be one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. Her now husband, Eric, is equally as wonderful and adores his bride so evidently.

The couple proclaimed their vows and cheered to their new marriage out front of the church before being whisked away in the stretch limo to attend their perfectly planned party.

Then there was the first dance…

Eric and Samantha had taken lessons over the past several months to choreograph a classic and timeless first dance. There was not a dry eye as Samantha and Eric were swept away by one another, falling into step, moving as a single unit and impressing every individual in the room. The father-daughter dance, the toasts; all of it was simple and sweet and a true testiment to the rightness of this couple.

There were alot of moments to remember from every aspect of this day but the one that tops them all is the groom splitting his pants during the garter removal and then preceeding to absolutely rock it. Just another example of how go with the flow and amazing this couple is.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Rodzon. We were so honored to be a part of capturing your love story. Thank-you for trusting us to do so! Enjoy reliving your beautiful day through the sneak peeks!
