“a sky full of stars
and he was staring at her”
This past weekend we were back again at our home away from home, The Stoltzfus Homestead. A beautiful rustic venue in the heart of Lancaster County. This venue continues to inspire us, as each couple brings their own look and feel to the property. Nathan and Samantha brought a relaxed approach, with a hint of class, charm & softness.
As with most of our recent weddings, we were prepared for a rain storm. But in this case, the sun decided to show up first thing in the morning. It wasn’t until the couple was tucked away in for the ceremony did the rain decide to show.
The ceremony was sweet and so honoring to the faith of this couple. They met at Valley Forge Christian College and have continued to strive to build a relationship seeking after Jesus. It is evident that they wanted to begin their marriage doing the same, with a foundation built on more than just the two of them. Friends and family were witnesses as they were declared husband and wife.
With the clouds rolling in, the couple continued to bless us with their amazing attitudes, as we took advantage of the beauty of the property. The foliage has LOVED the rain and the colors on the property were vibrant, simply begging to be photographed. Nathan and Sam are so clearly loved and supported and the rest of the evening was filled with dancing, smores and outdoor games. A sparkler exit capped the night off, as Nathan and Samantha kissed amongst twinkling lights.
Thanks for having us be a part of the story!
