Murphy-Goode Winery Tailgate {Commercial}

This past December I had the exciting opportunity to photograph a wine tailgate.

Murphy-Goode Winery is a top-rate California based company. It didn’t take long for me to realize this was a fun and passionate group, with traditional values and a desire to give back. They are known for taking their wine seriously, while still promoting a good time.

Recently, the company launched a new line of wine, Homefront Red, that sponsors the organization; Operation Homefront. Operation Homefront is a non-profit organization that honors our active-duty soldiers and veterans by supporting their families with emergency financial assistance. For every bottle of Homefront Red, Murphy-Goode donates 50 cents to this worthy organization.

This tailgate was a way to further give back to these serving families. Murphy-Goode invited two Army families and two Navy families for a not so ordinary tailgate. The event was at the Lincoln Financial field in Philadelphia, PA where the heated rivalry of the Army and Navy football teams took place.

The event was catered by the one and only Dirk Yeaton, grill sergeant. A military veteran himself, he brought all his skills to the table, serving up marinated chicken, steak, sausage, ribs and all the fixings. I snuck a bite or two, and it may have been the best grilling I have ever tasted!

It was a pleasure being a part of such an honoring event.
