Thank goodness for the mildest August I can remember! Yet another wedding day began with the sun shining and a crisp breeze. Mimosas were poured as the girls chatted, hanging out as the finishing touches of hair and makeup were put into place. Laura shared gifts with her closest girlfriends; personalized charm bracelets, jewelry and a heartfelt note. Laura then opened her Pandora bracelet from Michael and her mother placed that last finishing touch on her wrist. Laura’s eyes dazzled throughout the entire day, paired with her bright blue bouquet, she was breathtaking.
Across town the men helped one another with their ties, buttoning their vests and receiving the personalized glasses from Michael. Followed, was an epic session in the field where the bright sun hid behind the clouds for what seemed the perfect amount of time.
Michael and Laura said their I do’s at Bellevue Presbyterian Church and for the reception partied at The Barn at Overlook. My favorite part of the day is photographing the couple. This day was no exception; Michael and Laura were simply incredible in front of the camera, so comfortable and at ease, basking in the joy of their new marriage. The reception was filled with conversation and dancing. Rachel, the maid of honor gave a touching speech that left everyone with a tear in their eye.
The whole day was flawless. As Jenessa and I left the venue we told each other something has to go wrong, the day simply can’t be that perfect! But it was.
