Ali and Micah’s love story began when they were both students at University of Pittsburgh. Their first date happened on Valentine’s day, and consisted of dinner, ice skating, and unfortunately ended with Ali getting the flu. But that didn’t discourage either of them and they continued to date and get to know each other. They still love to play soccer together as they did in college, go running together, explore breweries, hammock, and hang out with their cat. Micah and Ali have such a fun relationship and love each other’s caring nature.
Valley Green Inn was the perfect location for their shoot, and it was.. for the first hour. We hiked and chatted and stopped at all the most picturesque spots along the trail. And when we finally got to our last location and were about to head back to our cars, the skies opened up and it started raining, and I mean not just a little shower, it poured buckets and we were soaked within minutes. Ironically, after the half mile walk back the rain finally stopped. Luckily Ali and Micah had the best attitudes about the dramatic shift in weather and still wanted to take advantage of the last remaining light and the eerie fog rolling in over the river. I’m so glad we did because those last few shots are my favorite! Thanks for being such great sports, and I can’t wait to see hoe beautiful your wedding day is going to be!
