On a brisk Saturday afternoon in September, friends and family gathered for a beautiful backyard wedding celebrating Matt and Becca. While the bride and groom got ready with the help of a few of their closest friends, it was all hands on deck outside as the home and yard were prepared for the ceremony and reception. White chairs lined up in rows before arbor draped in ferns and hydrangeas, with a perfect view of the expansive fields Lancaster County is known for. The ring bearer and flower girl lead the way down the aisle in style in their mini blue Mustang, followed by the stunning bride arm in arm with her dad. The couple read their vows and exchanged rings, and Becca included a special message and ring ceremony for her step daughter. After sealing their union with a kiss, the newlyweds proceeded down the aisle and greeted their excited family and friends.
As the sun set, lights strung between the trees illuminated the yard and led the way for Matt and Becca to share their first dance under the gazebo. Dinner was served buffet-style, and dancing ensued into the evening. Cake and donuts enticed guests for a sweet treat to end the evening. Becca and Matt have such a beautiful family and love, and I was so happy to be able to be a part of this day and capture memories for them. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Burkholder!
