“…she was a sky full of stars,
more of a constellation than human.
The most beautiful and intricate web of light
that I have ever seen assembled in one place.”
– AJ Lawless
Lee & Sam’s wedding day took place in the heart of Philadelphia. Surrounded by striking architecture and rooftop views, glittering sunlight, and guests in their black-tie best. But when I think back on this day and all of the beautiful things, what I remember as the most beautiful was the love between our bride and groom. They could have gotten married barefoot in a field and there would have still been magic and glamour to behold because, for them, it comes from within.
There is nothing that we enjoy more than a bride who loves photos. Sam came prepared with all of the details and poses and bridesmaids to fill them (12 to be exact- we love a girl with lots of BFFs!) The morning in the bridal suite as the ladies prepared was quite literally dripping with glitter, sparkles, and confetti. The greater portion of our time with this gang was spent traipsing around Philadelphia, taking advantage of all of the photo opps! Sam is the most vibrant and joy-filled person. While her day was a hot one, she faced it with all the poise in the world! Tessa, Victoria, and myself couldn’t help but look at her as if she was a Disney princess- gracious, patient, and sweet. And when she was with Lee, nothing else in the world mattered.
The events began with an intimate signing of their Ketubah, surrounded by tear-filled family members. Then pair exchanged vows in a sweet outdoor ceremony outside of the gorgeous Logan Hotel. Guests filed in donning fashionable ball gowns and striking suits. As the sun set over the skyline, everyone enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. As the evening turned into night, the party in the ballroom roared to the tune of a full live band! Lee and Sam shared an incredible coordinated first dance. After that, the dancing really didn’t take a pause, ever! Guests truly seemed to enjoy their evening to the fullest.
We were so honored to share the day with you, Lee and Sam! What a perfect one it was! We think the world of you both and wish you the best for you future together!
