Lee & Samantha met at Greek Life at West Virginia University in January 2012 while Samantha was a freshman in Alpha Omicron Pi and Lee was a sophomore in Sigma Nu. They met through a mutual friend and as Samantha states, “The rest is history.”
I had the pleasure of meeting Samantha during a photoshoot for Main Line Today Magazine, where this fashion designer was being featured for her fabulous clothing line. Over the next two years I have been able to work with her on multiple projects, getting to see first hand how passionate she is about her work but also her contagious zeal for life.
On a warm summer evening, Haley and I met Samantha and Lee at their Manhattan apartment. Within moments of seeing this couple together, it is so evident they are meant to be. They describe their relationship as bold, loving and supportive.
We then galavanted all around the city; starting at Central Park and returning to their rooftop patio, with the most breathtaking view of the city. These two were champs, braving the heat and putting up with Haley and I as we oohed and ahhed at how perfect this couple is together.
We had a mini session with their precious pup, Nala and then chased the sun, squeezing every last minute out of the light. Once the sun set, we returned to the rooftop where the twinkly lights of the bustling city showed their face, creating the most magical backdrop to pair with this stunning couple.
We ended the evening in NYC fashion, with some delicious pizza at one of the couple’s favorite pizza spots.
What a FUN evening it was! We cannot wait for this wedding day back in our favorite city, Philadelphia, this coming June. It is sure to be quite the celebration!
