“I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight for the ends of being and ideal grace…” – Elizabeth Barrett BrowningKamen & Nichole met at, arguably, the best University around. You guessed it, Temple. They both had just come back from studying abroad together in Italy. And although they were there for 6 months, they spent that time forming a strong friendship. It wasn’t until they got back to Philadelphia that they realized there may be more to their relationship then just friends.
We planned to meet at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia for their engagement session the evening before winter storm Stella arrive. The bright sun that had been out all day, quickly was hidden by looming clouds as the weather completely shifted from the start of our time until the end. The overcast aided in creating a visually moody setting, which worked so well with the location. Both Kamen and Nichole laughed from start to finish. At one point I told them I was simply going to stop giving any instruction because they so naturally interacted, even with a camera pointed at them.
Slight sleet could be felt as we wrapped up their session. It was such a fun evening! The two plan to wed at The Logan Philadelphia this coming summer. Can’t wait!
