Joel & Becca {Engagement Session Photographed by Haley & Victoria}

“I love you without knowing how or when or from where, I love you simply without problems or pride, I love you in this way because I do not know another way of loving but this.” – Pablo Neruda001-storyboardVictoria and I met Becca and Joel at Springton Manor for their engagement session. The weather was perfect and the rain from the past few days cleared just in time. Despite being a little nervous about being in front of the camera, Joel and Becca rocked their photo session. The chemistry and genuine deep friendship and love that these two have for each other was so evident. We loved their casual, easy style, and that they didn’t stop laughing or smiling at each other the entire time.

Joel and Becca met at Creation Fest, a Christian music festival, in 2013. Their common love of Spikeball brought them together, and they’ve been together ever since! Spikeball is still one of Becca & Joel’s favorite things to do together, and they attend local and national competitions, where, they humbly told us, have ranked extremely well. Aside from Spikeball, Becca & Joel name napping, food, and traveling as a few other hobbies. In fact they spent over 30 hours in the car together one summer road tripping from Lancaster to Pittsburgh, Nashville, Michigan, and back – and still liked each other afterwards, so I’d say that’s just a small indicator of how great these two are together. Joel admires Becca’s love of travel, experiences, and people over material things, and Joel’s love of people and willingness to go out of his way to help are a few of Becca’s favorite things about him.

We are so excited to see Joel and Becca again in just a few months for their July wedding!
