Joe & Lyndsey {Wedding}

Joe and Lyndsey were married in Lancaster City on a warm day in October. I may be slightly biased, but growing up in Lancaster; I am fully convinced that there is no prettier place, especially in the mid fall season. The reception following took place amongst this gorgeous landscape in a vintage barn. As a testimony to the couple, the entire day was calm and comfortable.

I have known Joe my entire life and have recently had the pleasure of meeting Lyndsey. These two are perfect for each other. They are comfortable to be around and it doesn’t take long to see how much they adore one another. They are refreshing and not complicated, not even questioning the idea when asked if they may be up for climbing into a canoe to grab the perfect shot.

It was very evident how much this couple is supported by their friends and family. Lyndsey already seemed like part of the Smoker family as Joe’s nieces followed her around in awe of this princess before them.

Joe and Lyndsey met through mutual friend, and from the start clicked. Lyndsey’s maid of honor, past roommate and best friend, Caitlyn, expressed their story through her toast and told of all the countless conversations and prayers they had about their future husbands. The marriage we witnessed was this answer to prayer.

This unusually warm evening brought buckets of rain. Thankfully, it held off till the end. The music was then paired with the pattering of the pouring rain outside, creating a cozy environment.

It was a honor to be a part of the day. Their marriage is already tremendously blessed and I know this is only the beginning. Congratulations Joe and Lyndsey!
