This relationship was built on a solid friendship. Jackie and Jared became friends in high school, stayed friends throughout college and then started dating after they both moved home from school. Their first date involved staying in, a bottle of wine and buffalo chicken pizza. Can you think of any better combo?
I love Jared’s response to being asked his favorite thing about Jackie, “I can have fun with her wherever we are, even at the grocery store.” And within minutes of meeting them, I could tell the same. These two are at such ease in each others presence and Jackie is ALL SMILES with Jared around.
So when they asked to meet in Old City and try to keep it as casual and authentic as possible, I was ALL about it. The weather decided to shape up and we met out front 2nd Story Brewing, where the two shared a beer. We walked around the area, chatting wedding plans and future adventures. Couldn’t have loved my evening with Jared and Jackie more. Counting down the days until their Lancaster County wedding celebration. The Homestead, we’re coming for you.
