“I’ve loved you from the moment
I laid eyes on you.
What would be more reasonable
thank to marry you?”
– Little Women
Perfect couple, charming church, incredible weather; just a few descriptions of this day. Dawn & David’s day is one we have been looking forward to for awhile now. Dawn is the third bride in a friend group that have all become TMI brides, and let me tell you, we adore these girls (and their hubby’s). There is something so fun about photographing brides that are also bridesmaids in a different season.
This day started at Normandy Farms, where the girls prepped and chatted details of the day, with the groomsmen nearby doing the same. While I love first looks between the bride and groom, the father-daughter first looks are quickly becoming my favorite. I’m a daddy’s girl through and through and there is something about that look of joy and pride that covers a father’s face when he sees his baby girl in her white gown.
After some portraits we traveled to the ceremony location, Augustus Lutheran church, where Dawn grew up attending. There is a historic church on site that dates back to 1743. The building is dripping with charm and character. The wooden pews were filled with friends and family who came to witness and support this new marriage. Dave beamed from ear to ear as his bride walked towards him down the aisle.
We traveled to Blue Bell Country Club and the sun decided to break through the clouds, leaving us with the prettiest magic hour to take some photos of the couple. The cocktail hour was set on the lawn, with a perfect breeze, this evening’s weather was one for the books.
The rest of the evening was spent socializing and partying the night away. It is so evident how loved and support these two are and we were so very honored to be able to document the love story. Thanks for having Haley and myself!
